What we collect

We may collect your email address, ZIP code, uploaded bill files, extracted bill data, and basic usage information from the app such as signups, uploads, analyses, and upgrade actions.

Why we collect it

We use this information to verify your account, analyze your uploaded bill, save your results when your plan allows it, send account or summary emails, and improve the product over time.

How bill files are used

Your uploaded bill is used to generate the BillLens explanation and any related saved history inside your account. We do not ask for your AEP Ohio login credentials.

Email and support

We may send account verification emails, bill summary emails, and product-related service messages. If you reply to an email from BillLens, your message may be routed to our support inbox at help@bill-lens.com.

Analytics

We track basic product events such as page visits, signup starts, verification completions, bill uploads, completed analyses, and upgrade attempts so we can understand product usage and improve performance.

BillLens uses third-party providers to operate the service, including hosting, billing, and email delivery. Those providers may process information as needed to support the service.
